Applications and Features
Product Description
This system consists of two seismic isolation flexible wires mounted in an L-shape via elbows, with the elbows supported by seismic isolation sliders.
Features
Space & cost saving
The unit installation area is small, & the distance (height) from the ceiling to the piping can be set at a minimum of 600 mm.
The turnbuckle also facilitates level adjustment.
Cost-saving unit with simple structure.
Multiple pipes can be supported at a single location.
Not affected by aging
Although there is concern that the spring system may lose spring performance due to long-term loading, our slider type receives the load with bolts, so there is no change over time in the follow-up characteristics to the displacement of the piping.
In addition, all major components are made of stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance.
Things to note
- Set guide bar parallel to ground side pipe line.
- Both pipe lines shall be located as designed.
- Tighten bolt for flange diagonally & evenly.
- Both horses shall be located near by flexible joint.
- Building & ground side pipe material shall be SGP or more mechanically strong material.
- In case of polyvinyl chloride pipe, short pipe made of polyvinyl chloride lining on steel pipe is necessary for horse.
- When connect pipe, screw connection should avoid because of leakage risk. So,welding or flange connection are recommended.
- Earch pipe shall be fixed to horse by means of 2 sets of U bolt as shown in drawing 1 or welding method.
- Orepare enough space around slider unit in order to perform sufficient movement when earthquake happen.
